At Wildly Wed by Katie Sue, we help couples create intimate weddings and elopements that are intentional, personal, and beautifully uncomplicated. Whether you're exchanging vows in the mountains, beneath the trees, at a charming Airbnb, or in your own backyard, we're here to bring your vision to life with thoughtful planning, trusted vendor connections, and photography that preserves every meaningful moment.
From your very first idea to your final gallery, our goal is simple: to make planning feel effortless so you can be fully present for one of the most important days of your life.
Vision Call: This is where the dreaming begins. We'll meet over coffee (if you're local) or connect on Zoom to talk through your vision, priorities, and what you want your wedding day to feel like. Together, we'll establish a target date, create a shortlist of locations, outline your budget, and build a custom mood board to bring your ideas to life.
THE PROCESS
Planning Call: Here's where we dive into the details. We'll create your wedding day timeline, secure any necessary permits, determine which vendors best fit your vision, coordinate the logistics, and thoughtfully design an experience that feels authentically you.
Coordination: Once your vendors are selected, I take the lead on all communication and coordination from that point forward. I'll manage the logistics, keep everyone on the same page, and ensure every detail comes together seamlessly so you can focus on enjoying the journey to your wedding day.
Final Details: About one month before your wedding, we'll connect one last time to go over every detail. I'll walk you through exactly what to expect, confirm timelines and logistics, answer any remaining questions, and make sure you feel confident and prepared for your day.
Wedding Day: Take a deep breath, soak in every moment, and enjoy the day you've been dreaming about. I'll be behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly, coordinating with your vendors, and documenting your story so you can be fully present with the people you love.

Why should I hire a planner for such a small wedding?
Small weddings often have just as many moving pieces as larger celebrations—they're simply more personal. From choosing the perfect location and building a thoughtful timeline to coordinating vendors and handling logistics, having an experienced planner allows you to be fully present on your wedding day instead of worrying about the details. Our goal is to create a stress-free experience so you can focus on what matters most: celebrating your marriage.
What if we have no idea where to start?
You're exactly who Wildly Wed was created for. Most of our couples know how they want their wedding to feel—they just don't know how to make it happen. That's where we come in. We'll guide you through each step, helping you turn ideas into a thoughtful, well-planned celebration that's uniquely yours.
Am i allowed to have guests?
Absolutely! Your wedding should reflect what feels most meaningful to you. Whether you're planning a private "just us" elopement or an intimate celebration with your closest family and friends, we'll help you choose a location and create an experience that fits your guest count. Keep in mind that some venues and public lands have guest limits or permit requirements, and we'll guide you through those details during the planning process. I do recommend keeping it under 20 people.
do i have to choose you for photography?
Yes! Photography is provided through Katie Sue Photo & Film, allowing us to create a seamless planning and photography experience from start to finish.
For weddings with more moving pieces, I'll bring a trusted assistant to handle vendor coordination and day-of logistics while I focus on documenting your day. For smaller elopements, I'm often able to manage both with ease.
By planning and photographing your wedding, we can create a day that's intentional, stress-free, and beautifully documented.
This company is absolutely incredible. Miracle workers, game changers, rockstars, etc. I struggled as a bride, because I originally did not want a wedding. The planning, the show for other people - it was too much for an introvert like me. I settled on a micro wedding feel, but I didn’t have a micro wedding guest list. These folks made this the most beautiful, intimate wedding. I could’ve written them a playbook on what I wanted, and they would’ve totally surpassed it. And they did. Book them. Now. You won’t regret it.
The absolute BEST photographer and great experience all because of Katie. She planned and put together every detail of our micro wedding and photographed it. She made everything so easy and seamless for us. Great communication and is so talented. Couldn’t love our pictures any more than we do. She is the best!
