I'm the friendly face behind the camera, and the heart behind Katie Sue Photo & Film. Photography has been my jam from as far back as I can remember and it's all thanks to my Mom! When I was growing up, she worked for Olan Mills (think 90's glamour shots) and she would chase me around with a camera every chance she got. I would tag along with her to work and play with the props while she did her thing! My love affair with photography didn't really start until high school. I became the school yearbook photographer and I would bring my point and shoot camera to every school event I attended. It was the good ole days that made me realize how much I loved taking photos and capturing candid moments. 

I took a break from photos when I had my son, Talon. I went to school to get a degree in Dental Hygiene and started working an  8-5. I realized very quickly that it wasn't for me. I started taking photos on the side and fell more in love with it every session I did. It wasn't long before I started doing this full time and I haven't looked back! It truly doesn't feel like work to me and I feel so blessed to do this every day! 

Now let's talk specialties. While I'm up for any photography adventure that comes my way, my heart beats a little faster when I'm with couples! Weddings, elopements, lovey-dovey stuff- I can't get enough of it. There's something special about capturing genuine moments between two people who are head over heels for one another. I can't wait to tell your unique love story through photos and make some awesome memories in front of the camera!
